Matt Shaw

Matt Shaw is a seasoned professional in the events management industry, currently serving as the Senior Coordinator for Special Events with the Chicago Cubs since May 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Event Coordinator and Marketing & Events Intern with the Indianapolis Colts from May 2018 to May 2022, and as a Conversion Assistant at Pacers Sports & Entertainment from December 2017 to May 2022. Matt's career began at Indiana University Bloomington, where involvement included roles as Student Equipment Manager for IU Football, Facility Maintenance Assistant for IU Athletics, and Sports Marketing Intern. Additional experience encompasses internship positions at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County, and Cohron's Manufactured Homes. Matt holds a Bachelor of Business Management from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington, supplemented by academic pursuits in The Beatles in London through IES Abroad. A graduate of Lawrence North High School, Matt earned an Academic Honors Indiana Core 40 Diploma.
