Charles Espedido

Charles Espedido is an experienced professional in the field of environmental justice and sustainability. Currently serving as the National Environmental Justice Coordinator at the Center for Earth Energy & Democracy since April 2024, Charles supports environmental justice groups within the Equitable and Justice National Climate Platform. Previously, Charles has held key roles such as Network Administrator/Project Manager at the Chicago Environmental Justice Network and Senior Manager at the International Living Future Institute. Charles also contributed to the Environmental Leadership Program as Program Manager and Program Coordinator, and has experience as a Program Assistant at the Natural Resources Defense Council focusing on the Environmental Justice & Safe Water Initiative. Charles holds a degree in Environmental Science: Public Health from Loyola University Chicago and completed the Great Lakes Regional Fellowship through the Environmental Leadership Program in 2023.
