Sharon Wheeler

Sharon Wheeler has extensive experience in program management and resident engagement, currently serving as a Program Specialist in the Office of the Ombudsman at the Chicago Housing Authority since August 2019. Previously, Sharon was a Program Manager at Near North Unity Program from October 2014 to August 2018, where involvement in a partnership of over 300 stakeholders led to successful community engagement initiatives. Earlier roles included a research position at Nortoc Inc., where Sharon managed confidential projects for top executives, and research recruiting at Hall & Associates and Campden Partners, both of which involved identifying candidates and ensuring data accuracy. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication from The Ohio State University and a certification as a Wellness Coach from the Institute of Holistic Health Careers.
