Barry Bennett

Barry Bennett is a seasoned professional in the performing arts field with extensive experience in project management and music coordination. Currently serving as a Controls Project Manager at Chicago Lightworks since May 2022, Barry previously held the role of Accompanist Coordinator at Chicago Movement Collective from September 2020 to May 2022, overseeing accompanist scheduling and performing in various classes. Barry's long tenure as a Resident Composer and Sound Designer at 16th Street Theater from 2007 to May 2022 complements a significant background as an accompanist at institutions such as the Dance Center of Columbia College, The Chicago High School for the Arts, and Lou Conte Dance Studio. Barry holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Missouri State University, with earlier studies at Henderson State University.
