Don Clark

Don Clark is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in complex litigation and legal counsel roles across various organizations. As Co-Owner of Chicago Magic Lounge since July 2016, Don also served as Acting President and General Counsel at Chicago Theological Seminary from January 2017 to January 2018. Prior to this, from 2001 to 2015, Don was General Counsel and Nationwide Special Counsel for the United Church of Christ, providing legal guidance to key leadership on significant matters. Don co-founded Clark & DeGrand, a litigation boutique, from 1990 to 2001, successfully handling complex cases, including one against the United States under the Federal Tort Claims Act. Earlier in the career, Don held litigation partner positions at McDermott Will & Emery and Isham, Lincoln & Beale. Don earned a J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy from Williams College.
