Reginald Garrett

Reginald Garrett is an experienced human resources professional with a focus on labor and employee relations. Currently serving as a Human Resources Business Partner for the Chicago Public Library since June 2023, Reginald directs employee relations, benefits, conflict resolution, and labor contract compliance. Previously, Reginald held the position of Manager of Employee and Labor Relations at the Chicago Department of Public Health from December 2012 to July 2023, where responsibilities included administering grievance processes and acting as a liaison to unions. Reginald also served as a Regional Labor Relations Consultant at Coca-Cola Refreshments and held various HR roles at DHL Global Mail and United Airlines. Reginald holds a BS in Criminal Justice/Sociology from Northeastern Illinois University and has additional education from DePaul University.
