Lydia Nance

Lydia Nance is an experienced music educator and administrator currently serving as a Student Teacher at Amundsen High School and a Clinical Teacher at A.N. Pritzker Elementary within Chicago Public Schools. Lydia also holds the position of Graduate Assistant in the Department of Music and Dance at Northeastern Illinois University, where responsibilities include facilitating rehearsals and managing instrument inventory. Previous roles include Substitute Band Clinician at Holy Trinity High School and Cadre Substitute at Ravenswood Elementary. Lydia has substantial experience in event management, having worked as Concerts Manager at Vanderbilt Blair School of Music and as Cumberland Orchestra Manager at The Sewanee Summer Music Festival. Lydia is pursuing a Master of Arts in Applied Pedagogy, with a focus on Bassoon, while also holding a Bachelor's degree in Bassoon Performance from Vanderbilt University.
