Jon Dostou

Jon Dostou is an accomplished musician and educator with extensive experience in teaching and performing across various music genres. Currently serving as an After School Teaching Artist at Wellan Montessori School since September 2021, Jon specializes in instruction on piano, guitar, ukulele, and music theory while preparing students for recitals. As a freelance musician and private instructor since April 2006, Jon performs as a guitarist, bassist, keyboardist, and vocalist, and maintains a diverse roster of students for virtual and live lessons. Previous roles include Online Music Instructor at Ale's Music Studio, Music Director for Superbad (The Band), and Music Instructor at Music and Arts Co. Jon's educational background includes a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Composition from Berklee College of Music and a Master of Music in Composition from the University of Hartford.
