Dan Jakes

Dan Jakes is a producer for Filmspotting's "The Next Picture Show" podcast, where Dan works on post-production audio editing. Dan is also a contributing writer for the Chicago Reader, Onion, Inc., and Time Out Chicago, focusing on performing arts reviews and features. Additionally, Dan has experience in account management at Groupon and has worked in various roles at Tomato Mountain Organic Farm and Keller Williams Chicago-Lincoln Park. Jakes also has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Literature, History, and Criticism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
