Abby Schaetzlein

Abby Schaetzlein is an experienced photographer and videographer currently working as a graduation photographer at Empire Photography since May 2024 and conducting on-location portrait sessions with Lifetouch since July 2023. With expertise in operating cameras for live events, Abby has been a camera operator for the Chicago Steel (USHL) since September 2022, capturing promotional footage and game day events. Additionally, Abby manages a personal YouTube channel, The Sportz Editor, focusing on hype and highlight videos that have attracted over 230,000 views. Previous roles include social media designer and videographer for the Northern Illinois University Hockey Team and a video intern with the Joliet Slammers Professional Baseball Club. Early experience as a graphic designer and retail salesworker further contributes to Abby's diverse skill set in photography and visual content creation.
