Leah Raffanti

Leah Raffanti possesses extensive experience in organizational and advocacy roles within the education sector. Since April 2012, Leah has served as a Field Representative and Charter School Organizer for the Chicago Teachers Union, contributing to the representation of educators and the negotiation of policies. Previously, Leah was an Organizer at the Chicago Alliance of Charter Teachers and Staff from April 2010 to April 2012. Leah's earlier career includes roles as a Research Assistant for The Work Scheduling Study from January 2007 to April 2010 and as a Residential Advisor at Youth Outreach Services from May 2006 to July 2007. Leah's educational qualifications include an A.M. in Social Work from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Women's Studies and Theater Arts from Beloit College.
