David Alfafara

David Alfafara currently serves as the Director at Meridian Charter Schools since June 2024. Previously, David held the position of Deputy Director of Academics and Culture at Chicago Tech Academy from August 2023 to June 2024. David's extensive experience in educational leadership includes serving as the Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction at Acero Schools and as Dean of School Culture at PASSAGES ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - AHS. From July 2009 to August 2017, David worked at Perspectives Charter Schools in various roles, including Assistant Principal, Instructional Coach, Dean of School Culture, and English Language Arts Teacher. David holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from Concordia University Chicago and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Teacher Education at National Louis University.
