Ramon Gonzalez has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. In 2005, they began working as a Writer and Photographer for MrBrownThumb. In 2008, they joined One Seed Chicago as a Social Media Manager and Creative Director, where they focused on creating and implementing social media strategies and refining the organization's online presence. In 2009, they became a Blogger for ChicagoNow, a branch of the Chicago Tribune Media Group. In 2010, they co-founded and co-hosted #SeedChat, a platform for gardening enthusiasts. In 2011, they started working as a Freelance Writer for the Chicago Tribune Media Group. In 2012, they worked as a Writer for TreeHugger.com. In 2013, they joined Mother Nature Network as a Freelance Writer. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Freelance Garden Writer for Craftsy.
