Rexford Robinson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Rexford began their career as a Freelance Writer/Editor for the Chicago Sun-Times in 2014, where they contributed their writing and editing skills. Rexford further pursued freelance writing opportunities with Community Health Magazine from 2014 to 2015 and then with Content Solutions from 2019 to the present. In 2015, they took on the role of Substitute Teacher in several school districts, where they taught various subjects and actively engaged students in learning. During the same period, Rexford also worked as a Freelance Project Manager for Tribune Brand Publishing, where they wrote and coordinated special print advertising sections and digital content. From 2017 to 2021, Rexford served as a Special Education Paraprofessional at Elim Christian Services, supporting students with special needs. More recently, they joined the Southwest Cook County Cooperative Association for Special Education as a Special Education Paraprofessional in 2021. Rexford Robinson's most recent position is as a Content Coordinator at Best Version Media, where they currently work.

Rexford Robinson attended Columbia College Chicago from 1987 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing Communications. Additionally, they pursued another Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing Communications/Journalism at the same institution in 1987. In October 2015, Rexford obtained an Illinois Substitute Teaching Certificate from the Illinois State Board of Education.
