Jessica Crane

Jessica Crane is an experienced animal care specialist with a robust background in animal behavior and welfare. Currently serving as a Seasonal Animal Care Specialist at Brookfield Zoo Chicago, Jessica previously held roles such as Seasonal Zookeeper at Phillips Park Zoo and Animal Ambassador Intern at Brookfield Zoo. Jessica's research experience includes investigating behavioral diversity in animals and exploring the effects of light on feline stress. As Co-President of the Animal Assisted Therapy Club at Michigan State University, Jessica led community initiatives and discussions related to animal therapy. Additional experience includes dog training and service dog training, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences and a Minor in Leadership in Integrated Learning from Michigan State University.
