Michelle Savage

Michelle Savage is an experienced social worker currently serving as a Supervising Social Worker at Child Action Northwest since April 2022. Prior to this role, Michelle worked as a Social Worker with the Children In Our Care Team at Lancashire County Council from July 2020 to April 2022, and as a Student Social Worker gaining experience in assessments and children’s services. Additional experience includes mentoring young people at YNOT ASPIRE LIMITED and facilitating educational sessions for unaccompanied minors in Lesvos, Greece. Michelle's earlier career spans various roles at the Department for Work and Pensions, including positions as Office Manager and Finance Manager, where significant contributions were made in customer service, finance management, and operational support. Michelle holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and a leadership qualification from the University of Central Lancashire.
