Frederick J. Ferrer

Frederick Ferrer is an accomplished leader in public health and nonprofit management, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Child Advocates of Silicon Valley since February 2019. Ferrer is also a Dean’s Executive Professor of Public Health at Santa Clara University and an Adjunct Lecturer at the Santa Clara County Office of Education, contributing to both special education and adolescent psychology programs. As the President and Principal Consultant of Manzanita Solutions, Ferrer provides strategic consulting services to nonprofits nationwide. Previous leadership roles include CEO of The Health Trust, where oversight of a $100 million foundation took place, and Executive Director of Estrella Family Services, managing a nonprofit with comprehensive child development services. With advanced education in psychology from Santa Clara University and further executive training from prestigious institutions, Ferrer combines academic expertise with extensive practical experience to effect positive community impact.
