Justin Duran, CFRE has a diverse work experience in the nonprofit sector. Justin has held various positions in different organizations, showcasing their expertise in resource development, fundraising, communications, and program management.
At Child Crisis Arizona, Justin has progressed from Development Manager to Senior Manager of Development & Communications, Director of Development, Senior Director of Development, and currently serves as the Vice President of Resource Development & Communications. In these roles, they have been responsible for strategic planning and implementation of annual campaigns, donor relations, community relations, volunteer management, and event coordination.
Prior to their time at Child Crisis Arizona, Justin worked at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale as a Branch Director, Youth Development Supervisor, and Sports and Fitness Coordinator. Justin also gained experience at AmenZone Foundation as a Program Coordinator and Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley as a Branch Executive.
Throughout their professional journey, Justin has cultivated strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the nonprofit sector. Justin has a track record of driving successful fundraising efforts and managing program operations while ensuring the well-being and safety of those they serve.
Justin Duran, CFRE, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Non Profit Recreation Management from Northern Arizona University, where they studied from 2003 to 2009. In 2016 and 2017, they attended the Arizona State University's American Express Leadership Academy program for professional development. In 2018, they earned a Nonprofit Marketing and Strategic Communications Certificate from Arizona State University, specializing in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management. Additionally, in March 2019, they obtained the CFRE Certification from CFRE International.
