Awwal Dahiru

Awwal Dahiru is an experienced professional in the fields of information technology and data analysis, currently serving as the Information Technology Team Manager at Child Health and Mortality Prevention Surveillance (CHAMPS) since March 2022 and as City Lead at Data Scientists Network/Data Science Nigeria since May 2022. With a solid background as a Program Analyst at the National Obstetrics Fistula Centre Bauchi since February 2019 and as Co-Founder/Data Analyst at Horizon IT Services since January 2021, Awwal also contributed significantly as Lead Trainer at Almuhibba Institute of ICT and Entrepreneurship from January 2019 to September 2023, focusing on certifying trainers in digital literacy. Awwal held the position of Data Analyst at Hash Analytic for a year in 2020 and Co-Founder at CodeVilla Digital Hub from April 2019 to December 2020. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Management Information Systems from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Abuja.
