Anthony Galvan

Anthony Galvan currently serves as Chief Data Officer at the Child Poverty Action Lab (CPAL) since September 2022, where responsibilities also include roles as Senior Director and Director of Data Analytics. Prior experience includes positions at the University of Texas at Dallas from February 2011 to September 2022, serving as Associate Director and Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Urban Policy Research. Earlier roles include Graduate Assistant in the Political Science Department at The University of Akron, Data Acquisition Specialist at NORC at the University of Chicago, and an internship at the Sherman Department of Tourism. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Applied Politics from The University of Akron and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Austin College, along with participation in the ICPSR Summer Program in Quantitative Methods of Social Research in 2014.
