Rebecca Vivrette, PhD, is a research scientist at Child Trends since October 2019, with extensive experience in child and adolescent mental health. Prior to this role, Rebecca served as an assistant professor in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Maryland School of Medicine from June 2013 to October 2019, providing research, therapy, and supervision in areas such as maternal-child mental health and psychological trauma. Rebecca's training includes a postdoctoral fellowship focused on young children and families, and clinical experience through various externships and positions that involved psychotherapy, assessment, and research related to child anxiety, trauma, and developmental assessments. Rebecca holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University-Los Angeles, along with an MA in Psychology from Pepperdine University and a BA in Psychology and Law from the University of Southern California.
