Billy Jo Ayakatubby has a diverse and extensive work experience in software development and management roles. From 2001 to 2007, they worked as a Software Developer at Delta Systems, Inc., where they designed and developed document imaging and workflow software. At E2 Development from 2006 to 2007, Billy Jo designed and maintained custom web applications for small businesses. From 2007 to 2008, they served as a Software Developer at Ticket Solutions, Inc., where they maintained an e-commerce site for the ticket broker industry. Billy Jo joined VeriShip in 2008 as a Software Developer, where they developed and implemented audit and reporting systems. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Senior Software Developer at Clickfarm Interactive, helping develop content management systems. At Nerdery from 2014 to 2019, Billy Jo worked as a Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, leading teams of engineers and developing web applications for various industries. Billy Jo then joined Kansas City Women in Technology in 2014, initially serving as the CoderDojoKC Program Director and later as a Program Advisor. Currently, Billy Jo is working at Children International as a Lead Developer, Software Development Manager, and Tech Lead, Web since 2019.
