Sara La Croix has extensive experience in child abuse prevention and community-based services. Sara began their career in 2007 as the Director of Community-Based Services at CUN, where they worked until 2010. Sara then joined Children's Bureau as a Prevention Program Coordinator and held this role until 2014. Following this, they started their own consulting firm, La Croix Consulting, as a Non-Profit Consultant in 2014. In 2015, Sara returned to Children's Bureau as the Los Angeles Community Child Abuse Council Coordinator and later became the Director for Strategies TA and the Los Angeles County Child Abuse Prevention Councils in July 2020.
Sara La Croix started their education at Lane Technical High School from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a high school diploma. Sara then pursued higher education at DePaul University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from 1998 to 2002. Later, they attended the University of Southern California from 2004 to 2007, where they completed a dual Master's degree program in Social Work and Public Administration. Sara'sfield of study at the University of Southern California focused on Social Work and Public Administration.
