Vicenta L.

Vicenta L. is a mental health outpatient therapist at Children's Bureau since September 2020, with extensive experience in social work and psychology. Vicenta has served as a freelance photographer at Vi Lopez Photography/Fotografía since March 2015. Previous roles included research assistant positions at USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work, where Vicenta contributed to significant studies on homeless veterans and young adults experiencing homelessness, facilitating data enrollment, interviewing, and transcription. As a clinical social work intern at Para Los Niños and Green Dot Public Schools, Vicenta provided therapy to children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. Additional experience includes data surveying for the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority and camp counseling at the Museum of Life and Science. Vicenta holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a degree from the University of Southern California.
