Jonathan Mar

Jonathan Mar has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Jonathan worked at the Children's Council of San Francisco, starting as a Child Care Payment Manager in October 2020, then serving as an Associate Director of Child Care Quality and Business Supports from August 2021 to May 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Compliance and Program Supports at the same organization since May 2023.

Prior to that, Jonathan worked at the YMCA of San Francisco, where they held various roles. Jonathan started as a Development Associate in October 2007, assisting with event planning, donor relations, and grant development. In July 2007, they became the Youth Sports and Recreation Director, overseeing multiple programs and conducting data analysis to identify community needs. Jonathan then served as the Camp and Sports Director from October 2012 to March 2016. Lastly, they worked as the Director of Community Programs from March 2016 to August 2020. Throughout their tenure, Jonathan attended development trainings and actively participated in the Financial Development Committee.

Jonathan Mar attended UC San Diego from 2003 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics. Additionally, they have also pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, although specific information regarding the start and end years is unavailable.
