Krissy Colvin

Krissy Colvin, PMP, currently serves as Senior Manager of Special Projects at the Children's Defense Fund, a position held since September 2023. Previously, Krissy was an Internal Mobility Specialist at Meta from January 2022 to July 2023, managing over 1,000 transfer and re-deployment applications across North America and EMEA. Prior experience includes serving as Program Manager at Equal Justice Works from April 2020 to January 2022 and as Shelter Children's Program Coordinator at the Women's Resource Center of the New River Valley, where significant direct service was provided to over 300 victims of domestic and sexual violence. Krissy's career began at Virginia Tech, where various roles included Program Support Technician and Research Assistant, following the completion of a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences in 2014.
