Mandy Heilman

Mandy Heilman is a seasoned nursing professional with a diverse background in child welfare and healthcare. Currently serving as a Child Welfare Nurse Specialist at the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services since July 2024, Mandy previously held the role of Registered Nurse at the Children's Home Association of Illinois from March 2016 to September 2024. Earlier experience includes positions as a Registered Nurse at ProHealth Gastroenterology and Pekin Hospital, where Mandy also worked as a Student Nurse Tech. Beginning a career at the Tazewell County Resource Center as a Direct Support Professional from January 1998 to July 2014, Mandy possesses a solid foundation in nursing, having earned an Associate of Science degree in Registered Nursing from Illinois Central College between 2012 and 2014.
