Sami Hinthorne

Sami Hinthorne currently serves as the Human Resources Manager at the Children's Home Association of Illinois, a position held since May 2022, after previously working as a Human Resources Generalist. Prior experience includes roles as Co-Director of Operations at 4M Building Solutions from April 2019 to May 2022, and Project Manager at ABM Industries from January 2018 to April 2019. At Lowe's Companies, Inc., from March 2014 to June 2017, Sami managed Loss Prevention and Safety standards in a high-value retail environment, focusing on reducing store losses through training and coaching. Additional experience includes emergency dispatching for Tazewell/Pekin Consolidated Communications Center, interning with Tazewell County Probation, and managing catering associates for Sodexo. Sami holds a Master’s degree in Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a Bachelor of Science in Law Enforcement, Sociology, and Forensic Psychology from Western Illinois University.
