Steven Petitt has over 15 years of work experience in the field of architecture. Steven currently holds the position of Vice President Campus and Support Services at Children's Wisconsin since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Partner at Groth Design Group from March 2016 to August 2022.

In 2014, Steven served as the Principal and Director of Healthcare Design at ScopeBridge LLC, where they focused on utilizing technology to maximize efficacy in designing, building, and operating facilities. Steven'sresponsibilities included providing architectural services, construction management, and various BIM related services.

From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Project Manager at Zimmerman Architectural Studios, Inc., overseeing large scale medical projects for various healthcare providers.

In 2012, Steven held the role of Store Planner II at Kohl's Department Stores, where they were responsible for process, document production, and communication of store planning projects.

Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager at Welman Architects from 2006 to 2012, primarily focusing on medical architecture projects.

Steven also has experience as an Adjunct Instructor at ITT Technical Institute and as an Associate Project Manager at AG Architecture.

Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in project management, design coordination, construction administration, and BIM technologies.

Steven Petitt, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Architectural Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the years 2001 to 2004. Steven then pursued a Master of Architecture (MArch) from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including being a Licensed Architect in the states of Wisconsin, Arizona, Colorado, and Florida. Steven is also an NCARB member and holds a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) certification from USGBC.
