Alexandra Leader

Director, Division Of Health Equity at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters

Alexandra Leader is a highly qualified healthcare professional with extensive experience in health equity and global health. Currently serving as the Director of the Division of Health Equity at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters since January 2022 and as the Director of Global Health at Eastern Virginia Medical School since July 2017, Alexandra also co-founded and co-directs the MANOS DE RAMON FOUNDATION. In addition, Alexandra holds the position of Attending Physician at Children's Specialty Group since July 2015. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Medicine from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, a Master of Public Health from UMass Amherst, a Medical Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine from Eastern Virginia Medical School, and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Princeton University.
