Cristina Martinez

Cristina Martinez has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Cristina started their career as an Early Childhood Educator at the Los Angeles Unified School District, where they implemented learning opportunities for children and ensured their safety and well-being. Following this, they held positions at the Business Honors Association as a Secretary, and at the Professionals In Human Resources Association as the Director of Planning. Additionally, they worked as the Chief Marketing Officer at the Entrepreneurial Collegiate Consulting Organization.

In 2018, Cristina began their tenure at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, where they held roles as a Front Desk Administrator, Human Resources Specialist, and eventually as a Human Resources Generalist. Cristina also interned as a Human Resources Intern at the same organization.

Cristina's experience also includes working as a Marketing Assistant at Centro de Negocios SBDC and as an Assistant Manager Human Resources, Human Resources Coordinator at HR NETwork, Inc. Additionally, they founded Cafe El Divisadero in 2019, showcasing their entrepreneurial skills.

Most recently, Cristina joined the Children's Institute as a Recruitment Specialist in 2022.

Cristina Martinez has a diverse educational background. Cristina attained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from California State University, Los Angeles, graduating between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they pursued an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General at Los Angeles City College, although the specific dates are unknown.

In terms of their initial educational journey, Cristina obtained an Architect degree from Universidad Centroamericana in Managua, which they undertook from 2007 to 2011, focusing on Architecture.

Furthermore, Cristina has also obtained additional certifications to enhance their skillset. Cristina received the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in June 2021. Additionally, they hold an Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification from the American Red Cross, earned in April 2021.
