Damir Siahkoohi

Damir Siahkoohi is a dedicated legal professional currently serving as a Staff Attorney at the Children's Law Center since February 2024. Previously, Siahkoohi held the position of Staff Attorney at the Network for Victim Recovery of DC from January 2023 to October 2023 and at the Maryland Coalition Against Sexual Assault from February 2019 to January 2023. Siahkoohi’s experience includes a Fellowship at the International Human Rights Law Clinic and legal fellowships at both the Amara Legal Center and Shared Hope International. Earlier career roles include tutoring at Eastern Kentucky University and interning at the office of Congressman Andy Barr, focusing on human trafficking and immigration reform, as well as at Gecom Espacios de Comunicacion, where outreach efforts were initiated. Siahkoohi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government, History, and Homeland Security from Eastern Kentucky University and a Juris Doctor degree from American University Washington College of Law.
