Stacey Weingarten

Stacey Weingarten has a diverse work experience in various roles within the entertainment industry. Stacey has served as an Episodic Director & Supervising Producer on "Reading Buddies" (Season 3) at The Reading League. Additionally, they have held positions such as President (LA Chapter) and Vice President at the Children's Media Association. Stacey has also worked at Chinese Mother Jewish Daughter LLC as an Executive Producer and has been involved in producing, directing, and adapting various projects. Stacey has been an active writer, bookwriter, and lyricist for multiple productions. Stacey has contributed to musicals like "5th Republic", "Les Enfants de Paris", and "Rescue Rue". Stacey has also worked as a Producer and Muppet Wrangler for companies like Ronald McDonald House New York, The Muppets Studio, and Nickelodeon. Stacey's work includes directing puppet shows, producing live events, and overseeing recording sessions. In addition, they have experience as a Puppet Producer, Puppet Wrangler, and Director for various projects.

Stacey Weingarten completed their high school education at Princeton High School in 2002, earning a High School Diploma. Afterward, they enrolled at Fordham University from 2006 to 2010 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Their major was Theatre (Directing), Communications and Media Studies, with a minor in Classics. Additionally, in 2008, Stacey attended the O'Neill Puppetry Conference, exploring the field of mechanisms for rod puppets. Stacey also participated in a Master Class in Puppetry in 2005, focusing on "Muppet-Style" Puppetry for theatre and TV.

Stacey continued to expand their knowledge and skills in various areas. In 2007, they attended the O'Neill Puppetry Conference, delving into the connection between puppetry and film through Video Anarchy. Stacey further pursued their interests by studying Ancient Greek, Latin, and Philosophy of Mind at Johns Hopkins' CTY from 2002 to 2004. In 2003, they gained experience in filmmaking at the New York Film Academy.

To enhance their theatrical abilities, Stacey enrolled in the Magnet Theater from 2016 to 2018. Stacey completed the Musical Improv Program, graduating from Levels 1-3 twice, and also pursued regular Improv up to Level 4. Additionally, from 2016 to 2019, they continued their education in Improv and Musical Improv at the Magnet Theater. In 2016 and 2017, they attended the Dramatists Guild Institute to focus on the art of writing lyrics. Furthermore, in 2016, they studied Chinese (Mandarin) at the China Institute NYC.
