Veda Russ has extensive experience in financial management and contract administration within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as the Manager of the Contract Management System at Children's National Hospital since January 2004, Veda has been responsible for modeling, optimizing, and managing the hospital’s Healthcare Contract Management software. Previous roles include Financial Manager at the same institution, where responsibilities included preparing monthly financial reports and overseeing the financial status of various accounts. Prior to this, Veda held the position of Assistant Director for Patient Accounts at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, supervising multiple divisions to ensure efficient account processing, and served as a Senior Reimbursement Analyst, enhancing revenue through improved billing practices. Veda's career began as a Senior Auditor with the DC Department of Health, focusing on cost report audits. Veda holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Virginia State University and a Master of Arts in Administrative Management from Bowie State University.
