Rafael Friedmann is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in energy efficiency and public policy, serving as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Chile California Council since April 2020 and an Executive Board Member from 2015 to 2019. Prior to their roles at the Chile California Council, Rafael served at PG&E from 2000 to 2017, where responsibilities ranged from Expert Strategic Analyst to Senior Program Manager, focusing on energy efficiency programs. Additionally, Rafael was the Principal at Friedmann & Associates from 1992 to 2000, providing consulting services in energy efficiency and renewables. Rafael's academic credentials include a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master's degree from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree from Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana.
