Patrick Agius

Patrick Agius has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and technology. Patrick is currently working as a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Chiliz since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Blexr as a PHP Development Lead from February 2021 to October 2021 and as a Full Stack PHP Developer from February 2020 to January 2021.

Before joining Blexr, Patrick worked for 247 Ltd for over a decade, starting from August 2009 to January 2021. During their time at 247 Ltd, they held various roles in IT consultancy and development. Patrick provided services such as IT consultancy, development of tailor-made software, website development and design, computer assembly and sales, and remote assistance and administration of client systems.

Patrick has also held positions in other organizations, including AirPay Limited as the Head of Technology from January 2017 to April 2018, eCabs Company Limited as the Head of Technology in November-December 2016, TRC Family Entertainment Limited as a Senior Web Developer from September 2013 to July 2014, WagerLogic Software Malta Ltd as a Web Developer Manager from January 2012 to September 2012, IPoint Ltd as a Senior Software Developer from October 2007 to July 2009, Availacall/Everplus Group as an IT Manager from February 2006 to March 2007, and Availacall Ltd as a Senior Web Developer/Designer from December 2005 to February 2006.

Throughout their career, Patrick has demonstrated expertise in software development, web development, IT consultancy, and technology leadership.

Patrick Agius attended St Catherine's High School from 1985 to 1990. Following that, they attended Junior Lyceum Hamrun from 1990 to 1996. Finally, they attended Junior College, Sixth Form from 1997 to 1999.
