Alexander Shaw

Alexander Shaw is a seasoned professional in the mining sector, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer at Landore Resources since June 2024. Shaw also holds the position of Non-Executive Chairman and Non-Executive Director at Chilwa Minerals, where efforts are focused on advancing the Lake Chilwa Project in Malawi. As Managing Director and CEO of Luso Global Mining since February 2020, Shaw oversees mining investments for the Mota-Engil Group. Previous experience includes roles as General Manager at CAMALCO SA, Chief Geologist at Canyon Resources Ltd, and Managing Director at KBMEC Ltd. Alexander Shaw began a career in geology with positions at First Quantum Minerals Ltd and Sierra Leone Diamond Company, complemented by academic credentials, including a DPhil from the University of Oxford.
