Vanessa Ngwira

Vanessa Ngwira is an accomplished Exploration Geologist currently working at Chilwa Minerals since February 2024. Prior experience includes serving as an Exploration Geologist at Bickia and as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Malawi - UNIMA from March 2023 to February 2024. Vanessa also held the position of Climate Change and Resilience Officer at the Creative Centre for Community Mobilization (CRECCOM) for a brief period in 2022, and completed an internship as a Field Geologist at Sovereign Services Limited focusing on Rutile and Graphite exploration. Earlier internship experience was gained at the Geological Survey of Malawi from August 2019 to November 2021. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of Malawi, obtained in April 2022.
