Shelby Crouse has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Shelby began their career as an Assistant General Manager at Destination Maternity Corp in 2008, where they were responsible for assisting the General Manager in three retail maternity stores. Shelby then moved on to work as a Store Manager at Godiva Chocolatier, where they operated a million-dollar chocolate store and managed a team of 5-10 employees. In 2010, Shelby worked as an Assistant Manager at Buckle, where they trained and mentored a sales team. Shelby also worked as an Operations Manager at Ulta Beauty, where they set ads and displays, and assisted the General Manager in various duties.
Shelby's experience in the beauty industry continued as they joined Sephora inside JCPenney in 2012. Shelby worked as a Senior Education Consultant and later as a Beauty Manager, overseeing the hiring, training, and development of employees. In 2017, they took on the role of Stay at Home Mom before returning to the workforce as a Customer Support Specialist and later as a Customer Support Trainer at Houzz. There, they developed training materials, trained new hires, and provided support to customers and vendors.
In 2020, Shelby joined Conn’s HomePlus as a Customer Service Specialist for a brief period before moving to Zocdoc as a Senior Operations Associate. At Zocdoc, they handled incoming calls from providers and patients, answered emails, and conducted training calls for new providers. Currently, Shelby is working as an Onboarding Specialist at Chime Technologies Inc, where they assist with onboarding processes.
Throughout their career, Shelby has demonstrated their ability to train and develop employees, provide top-notch customer service, and manage operations effectively.
Shelby Crouse began their education journey at Dobson High School, where they completed a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program, earning a diploma. After graduating from high school, they enrolled at Chandler/Gilbert Community College for a period of time before transferring to Arizona State University. At ASU, they pursued a degree in Communication and Media Studies from 1995 to 1997, with the degree still in progress at the end of that period.
