Michael Wei

Michael Wei is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Chime since 2019, Michael has contributed to the growth of the largest challenger banking company in the U.S. Prior to this role, Michael was the Head of Engineering at HomeShare, overseeing the development of software for various operational workflows. Michael's earlier career includes a significant tenure at Postmates as Director of Engineering, where contributions included founding the Merchant Team. Previous roles at Google and Hewlett-Packard involved software engineering and team leadership focused on product optimization and improving software installation processes. Michael holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
