Xiangyu Ji

Xiangyu Ji is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in bug fixing and backend infrastructure. At Chime since July 2021, Xiangyu focuses on credit builder, personalization, and funding backend infrastructure. Prior experience includes a role at TikTok from June 2020 to July 2021, addressing bugs for app monetization bidding and ranking, and three years at Facebook (March 2017 - June 2020) where Xiangyu tackled issues in streaming and ads infrastructure while also contributing significantly to documentation. Earlier experience includes an internship at Facebook in 2016 and a research engineer position at Northwestern University. Xiangyu holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Beihang University.
