Chengchen Li

Chengchen Li is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Vice President at China Investment Corporation since July 2016, contributing to the establishment of the organization’s first in-house Global Emerging Market Local Currency portfolio and blended portfolio. With responsibilities focusing on investments in the ASIA and CE4 regions across rates, FX, and credit, Chengchen also manages relationships with external managers of EM debt. Prior to this role, Chengchen held positions as Associate and Analyst at the same organization, gaining expertise in sovereign analysis and portfolio management. Early career experience includes an internship at PING Capital Management as a trading desk assistant. Chengchen holds a Master of Finance in Financial Engineering from the School of Economics and Finance at HKU and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Management from Purdue University.
