Grisel Hernandez

Grisel Hernandez is a seasoned professional in the fields of finance and social impact, currently serving as a Senior Associate at Chingona Ventures since October 2022. In addition to this role, Grisel is an active member of Global Women in VC and Let's Talk Ops. Previous experience includes managerial and analytical positions at the Illinois State Treasurer, and a VC Fellow role at Chicago:Blend. Grisel's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Grinnell College, complemented by a certificate in Data Science and Public Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago. Notable early roles involved data analysis for the Center for Research in Security Prices at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, as well as various internships focused on community engagement and advocacy.
