Dimitri Labat is currently the Co-founder and CTO at Chipiron, where they are developing the next generation of MRI machines using ultra-sensitive quantum detectors to reduce the magnetic field required for scans. Prior to this role, they were a member of the PA4 Cohort at Entrepreneur First in 2020. From 2019 to 2020, Dimitri worked as a Contrôleur des risques modélisés en Assurance at Banque de France. Dimitri also has experience as a Professeur agrégé at Lycée Blaise Pascal from 2018 to 2019 and as a Professeur de physique at IUT PARIS DIDEROT from 2015 to 2018. Dimitri has further teaching experience as a Professeur de physique et de mathématiques at OPTIMAL SUP SPE from 2013 to 2017 and as a Professeur de physique-chimie at Médisup Sciences from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, they worked as an Interrogateur-colleur at Lycée Saint Louis from 2011 to 2015.
Dimitri Labat pursued their education in the field of physics. Dimitri began their academic journey in 2010 at the École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay, where they obtained a degree as an "Élève normalien" in fundamental physics in 2014. During this time, they also completed a Master 2 (M2) in quantum physics at the École Normale Supérieure in 2013-2014. Later, from 2015 to 2018, Dimitri pursued further studies at the Université Paris Cité, where they completed a doctorate in the field of theoretical condensed matter physics.
