Matthew Zabala has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Matthew currently serves as an IT Security and Compliance Specialist at ChiroTouch since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Cybersecurity and National Security Strategy Research Intern at the Hudson Institute's Quantum Alliance Initiative from June 2020 to February 2022. From February 2020 to December 2021, they worked as a Graduate Assistant at California State University-San Bernardino. Before that, they gained experience as an Electrical Assembler at Climet Instruments Company from July 2019 to January 2020. Matthew also worked as a Grant Research Intern at SOTENI International in 2018 and as a Research Intern at the International Journal of Multicultural Education in 2015. Matthew held the position of Interim Director of the Post-2015/SDGs Working Group at UNA-USA San Diego from February 2015 to August 2015.
Matthew Zabala obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies - Political Science from UC San Diego in 2016. In 2019, they enrolled in California State University-San Bernardino and completed a Master of Science degree in National Cyber Security Studies in 2021. During the same period, from 2020 to 2021, Matthew also pursued a Quantum Computing certificate from The Coding School. Matthew participated in the University of California Education Abroad Program at Yonsei University for the Winter Semester of 2015. In terms of certifications, they earned a CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA in July 2021, and a Regulatory Compliance Specialization from Coursera in May 2023.
