Eric Liu is a UX Engineer at Render, a position held since August 2021. Previously, Eric worked at IBM from May 2017 to July 2021 as a Design Technologist, where responsibilities included leading the development of Carbon Components Svelte, part of IBM's open source Carbon Design System, and designing web applications focused on Conversational Design, Travel, and Enterprise Business Modeling using technologies such as React, TypeScript, and Node. Earlier experience includes an internship as a UI Design Intern at Lightning Motorcycle in 2014, where Eric contributed to the design and development of a digital 360° product showcase for the Lightning LS-218 model. Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Arts + Practice from the University of Southern California, completed in 2017.
