Steve Marinelli

Steve Marinelli has extensive experience in finance and healthcare management. Steve has held various roles throughout their career, including Chief Executive Officer at Choctaw Regional Medical Center since 2020. Prior to their current position, Steve served as the Interim Chief Financial Officer at both Choctaw Regional Medical Center and Baptist Memorial Health Care. At Baptist Memorial Health Care, they successfully transitioned a critical access hospital to new ownership and implemented new processes to stabilize the financial condition. Steve has also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Colbert County Healthcare Authority and as the Owner/Partner of Marinelli Financial Services/Watts & Associates CPA Firm. In addition, they have previously worked as the Chief Financial Officer and Controller/Finance Director/Account Manager at Health Management Associates, Inc. - Northwest Ms Regional Medical Center. Throughout their career, Steve has demonstrated expertise in financial management, revenue cycle processes, cost reduction, and business strategy.

Steve Marinelli attended Millsaps College from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
