Sherry Brown

Sherry Brown has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Sherry began their career in 2004 as a writer, publishing two novels under the James A. Rock and Company Publishers. From 2008, they transitioned into the education field, working with Choice Schools Associates/MIChoice Schools LLC as the Director of Compliance and Accountability. In this role, they were responsible for managing and completing compliance submissions for charter schools under their management. Concurrently, they also served as the Bookkeeper/Office Manager at West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science, ensuring all school compliance submissions were timely and accurate. Additionally, at Choice Schools, they took on the role of Bookkeeper/Office Manager, overseeing on-site compliance issues and performing various bookkeeping tasks. Sherry'swork experience at Choice Schools and West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science lasted until 2013.

Sherry Brown has a diverse education history with a focus on various fields of study. Sherry attended Bay De Noc College where they studied Computer Science, Accounting, English Literature, Creative Writing, Liberal Arts, and Business Management. Following this, they enrolled in Lansing Community College where they pursued Business Administration, Management and Operations, and Liberal Arts. Finally, they attended Michigan State University, specializing in Business Management, Accounting, American Literature, and Creative Writing.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Sherry has obtained several certifications. In 2016, they completed the Choice Data Specialist Training, the Data Wizard from Munetrix program, the Epicenter Training Certificate, and also became an Epicenter Training Specialist.
