Robert M.

Robert M. has over 10 years of experience in the hospitality and accounting industries. Robert began their career in 2006 as a server at Leona's Italian Restaurants and Levy Restaurants at Arlington Park Racetrack. In 2009, they joined Pappas Restaurants, Inc. as an intern in the Management Training Program. Here, they supervised and managed 30 front-of-the-house employees, opened and closed the restaurant, and handled guest relations. In 2011, they became a server at Gibsons Restaurant Group - RL Bar & Grill, where they focused on customer relations and satisfaction. In 2016, they were Office Manager at Joy Hospitality, Won Fun Restaurant, where they assisted in the launch of the two-restaurant start-up and managed all accounting functions. In 2017, they held two roles, Associate Accountant at PEAK6 Investments and Accounts Payable Specialist at Optiver. At PEAK6 Investments, they reviewed, verified, and coded invoices to the general ledger for three entities. At Optiver, they reviewed, verified, and coded invoices to the general ledger for two entities and prepared and performed check runs. Finally, in 2021, they joined Chomps as a Senior Associate Accountant and Associate Accountant.

Robert M. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management from Kendall College between 2005 and 2007. Robert then went on to receive a Master of Science in Accounting from Loyola University Chicago between 2014 and 2018.
