Derek M. Vasko

Derek M. Vasko, CFA has extensive work experience in investment strategy and research. Derek M. is currently serving as the Senior Director of Investment Strategy at Choreo, after having worked as the Director of Investment Strategy at the same company. Prior to joining Choreo, Derek worked as the Manager of Investment Research at RSM US Wealth Management LLC. Derek M. also served as the Senior Analyst of Equity Analytics at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), where they provided advanced investment analytics and conducted quantitative analysis. Earlier in their career, Derek worked at LPL Financial as a Supervisory Analyst and Associate Analyst, providing market insights, portfolio management guidance, and conducting research. Derek M. also worked at Vanguard as an ETF Analyst, Fund Financial Associate, and Client Relationship Associate, gaining experience in analyzing corporate actions, fund NAV calculations, and client relationship management.

Derek M. Vasko, CFA holds a CFA Charter in Accounting and Finance, which they obtained from the CFA Institute from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they received a BS degree in Finance with a minor in Accounting from West Chester University of Pennsylvania from 2000 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Derek has obtained various certifications. In 2010, they became a Chartered Financial Analyst through the CFA Institute. Furthermore, Derek obtained the Series 7 and Series 63 certifications from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in April 2014. Lastly, they acquired the Investment Advisor Representative certification from FINRA in June 2015.
